Kayla Wiitala, LLMSW

Taking the first step towards therapy can be tough, but finding the right therapist can make a huge difference. Thanks for taking the time to learn more about me! With a background in social work and psychology, I bring a unique perspective to each session I hold with my clients, where my goal is to help them find the necessary tools to overcome any obstacle that comes their way, allowing them to move forward with more confidence. My goal is to collaborate with you in a way that honors your experiences, values, and aspirations.

Throughout my career, I have had the privilege to work with children and adults who have struggled with a range of mental health concerns in a variety of settings. I work virtually with women and children ages 10-18. I enjoy working with adults, particularly women navigating relationships, anxiety, depression, or life changes. 

My therapeutic practice incorporates a variety of research-based techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic approaches, mindfulness, and creative expression. I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive space where clients can openly express themselves and feel truly heard.
